EABcom Transducerized Battery Tools, Connected Industrial Smart Hub

Desoutter’s EABcom series are advanced transducerized cordless nutrunners featuring built-in displays and wireless connectivity for data-driven assembly operations. They provide precise torque and angle fastening with a triple strain gauge transducer and high-frequency angle sensor, delivering highly accurate, repeatable results even for critical joints. An ergonomic design with two possible battery positions improves balance, and an integrated screen gives operators real-time feedback and status directly on the tool. These smart tools operate either standalone (for basic OK/NOK confirmation) or in fully networked mode via 2.4/5 GHz secure wireless linked to the Connect hub, which combined with RFID pairing enables quick device swaps and full Industry 4.0 traceability in production. The Tulip team did not test the integration with this specific model, although the Tulip team has high confidence that the integration works following instructions of the KB article as the protocol used by this device to communicate is supported by Tulip.
