1900C

The Honeywell Xenon 1900C is a special variant of the Xenon 1900 series that includes a color image sensor, allowing it to decode color barcodes and capture color images in addition to standard 1D/2D scanning. By incorporating color data, the 1900C can read barcodes that are printed in color or on colored backgrounds that might confuse typical monochrome-only scanners – for example, a red barcode on a white background or multi-colored coupons. It retains the same high-performance area-imaging engine as the rest of the Xenon 1900 family, so it quickly and accurately reads conventional barcodes too, with no loss of speed due to the color capability. The Xenon 1900C connects via USB or other standard interfaces just like its siblings and shares their robust build, making it a seamless upgrade for specialized applications (in healthcare, retail, or identification) that benefit from color scanning without sacrificing everyday scanning performance.
