DS4600 Series

The Zebra DS4600 Series is a family of versatile 1D/2D handheld scanners designed to deliver fast, accurate barcode capture in retail, healthcare, and light industrial settings. With an 800 MHz processor, a high-resolution megapixel sensor, and Zebra’s PRZM intelligent imaging technology, the DS4600 scanners can instantly read virtually any barcode – even if it’s damaged, poorly printed, or displayed on a screen. Multiple models in the series address different needs: for example, standard range versions for UPC codes, high-density models for tiny barcodes, and even versions optimized for documents or DPM marks, ensuring there’s a solution for every use case. Built to handle daily use, the DS4600 series has a durable design (IP52 sealing and drop tested) and offers flexible connectivity (USB, RS-232, Keyboard Wedge), making deployment straightforward. The Tulip team did not test the integration with this specific model, although the Tulip team has high confidence that the integration works following instructions of the KB article as the protocol used by this device to communicate is supported by Tulip.
