LI2208

The Zebra LI2208 is a linear imager handheld scanner that builds on the legacy of Zebra’s best-selling LS2208, offering improved performance and the ability to scan barcodes off mobile phone screens. It can scan standard 1D barcodes from contact up to an extended range (farther than the LS2208) and is more forgiving of poor print quality, making everyday scanning tasks faster and smoother. Because it uses imaging technology instead of a laser, the LI2208 can also capture barcodes off LCD screens (like mobile coupons or e-tickets) that older laser-only models cannot. The device maintains the comfortable, lightweight design and simple plug-and-play interfaces of its predecessor, ensuring an easy transition for users while delivering better performance without retraining staff. The Tulip team did not test the integration with this specific model, although the Tulip team has high confidence that the integration works following instructions of the KB article as the protocol used by this device to communicate is supported by Tulip.
